1M at Colorado Dealer
Got an up close and personal look at the 1M at my dealership here in Colorado. It's here for the Denver Car Show, but my salesman took me in the lower level of the dealership for a good look. It's really nice. I don't know if I would spend the cash for it yet. I personally liked the stiched alcantara cover on the dash just above the steering wheel. Nice touch.

Can we travel back in time and exchange our minds? So you could see the black one in Munich and I could see the Orange one in Colorado?

I work at Schomp BMW here in Colorado and was down looking at the car for a while this morning. The VO is absolutely beautiful in person IMO. Anyone who actually gets their hands on one is going to be very lucky!

So you'd say it looks better in person than on the pics (in VO)? How much better?

We don't need any more confusing snapshots of VO that'll look anything from red to brown. What we need are representable and good made shots. In my opinion, better no pictures than bad pictures.

I agree. I was just down there as well and it is beautiful. However, it was tucked away in the garage on the other side of a maintenance truck. Hidden from view and from good lighting or sunlight for that matter....

Does the Denver show kick off this weekend? I guess we will be seeing tons of pics, ranging from Brown, through Orange, to Copper in color! LOL

I was trying to keep its location a secret. I didn't want the folks at Schomp pissed at me because I told everyone. You are correct about being hidden behind the truck. I kept scraping my ass on the truck trying to look at it. haha I almost volunteered to wash it. It needed a bath. At least we got to see it before the car show. Makes you feel kinda special.

How did you know it was at Schomp, I didn't say where it was? Someone that works at Schomp blew the cover. They were acting kind of secretive about it. Almost like they didn't want anyone to see it. They would bait you up and said they had it.

I was able to see it as well; tucked away in the detail bay, hidden from all to see I guess. It may be a prototype or euro spec 1M? This car did not have Xenon's and the temperature control(s) etc were configured with dials instead of the familiar push button style. Very cool. The VO looks good in person but would still pick BSM personally

You know what? That was the first thing I thought of when I saw this color. The resemblance is strikingly similar... Especially the interior. The interior of the Copperhead had black with orange stitching as well. Personally, i love the color... Anyone who gets the VO won't be disappointed. It's quite beautiful but in the sun light is where this color will really stand out...
