Has anyone heard of this DIY? It looks pretty sick. I'm thinking of trying it.

It came out a few days ago (March 9th)... I figured I would share!

OP bulbs look pretty decent, was actually going to pic them up until I read a thread about not wasting money on these because they sucked! lol Search it and read what this guy was saying about them....The great thing is that if you run that mod that draws 100% power to the AE's even while headlights are on, they actually look pretty good. Not really comparable to LED's, but great price and def a cheap alternative. The ARC lights have a limited lifetime warranty from BMS apparently so thats good. Hacking the headlight harness as seen on that n54 site is prob not the greatest idea, but hey give it a shot and let us know if something melts!

I think it handles great, its not the fastest car in the world, but it had class leading horsepower in 2010, so it is faster than the similar cars in the class. I haven't had the opportunity to see how it drives with a turbo in it though, hopefully by the end of next month I will be a passenger in one at least. The aftermarket turbo pushes the horsepower up to about 300 or so. But otherwise the handling is great, people complained the SX's ride was too rough, because of the sport tuned suspension, but I don't have any problems, and plan on adding a rear swaybar to handle even a bit better. I would buy this car again if I had the chance.

Give it a shot man! on my old e46 i had no angel eyes at all, and ended installing a set of aftermarket ones. i did something similar to what was done in the diy to make them drl... i had to tap into one of the wires in the glove box and also tapped it with the interior light wire. it was pretty sick, the angel eye worked as daytime lights and when i locked or unlocked the car and the interior lights went on, my angels eyes turned on, just like how my e92 does now. give it a shot let us know how it goes.

Isn't that the mod found on N54tech or did I misunderstand that thread?
