UGHHH 2 hours and $1100 later, I can finally get to work

Rush rush this morning cause I wake up late...decide to take the beemer to work cause I'm playing hookey later and going to an interview.....1.5hr commute...and halfways through I get a fucking flat!! welll not a flat but my sensor goes off ...so i pull over and peep it out...sizeable gash on the sidewall of the right rear tire...
i take it to the tire place....still driving on it (Runflat FTW) thank god....and they lift it up and my other rear is starting to show treads...

now I have an e92 with 290's on it...19" RFT's all around....

long story short...im back at work and ready for my interview later!

Flatbed tow to house-$80
take off wheel and take it to tire store later
pay half the price for the tire and have it mounted and balanced there

I believe "free" RSA lasts until your warranty is up.

You can still use it after that, but you pay.... convienient to have 1 number you can call though, no matter where you are.

And yes, ditch the RFTs. I just bought one of those slime kits that comes with a compressor for like $40 and kept it in the trunk. I realize it might not have helped you since you had a "gash", but 98% of the time it'll do just fine to get you where you need to go.

Wow, is that price normal for RFTs? Or did they just bend you over since you were stuck?

Does the slime ruin your TPMS sensors?
