i am a textbook example of what they call an impulsive buyer. here i am happily minding my own business surfing the forums when i check the classifieds section (as i often do) and run across an ad for a Renn-Art exhaust for a 335i for dirt cheap (350 bucks!) .... but to my surmise, the seller was not willing to ship and i was very

Now that i'm all pumped up and excited i look around a little more, and happen upon a Borla full catback system for an E92!!! For almost Double the price! And then ten minutes later i bought it.. this was ten minutes ago.. and i gotta say im feeling a little buyers remorse, although i'm sure it will pass as soon as I slap that bad boy on my car. (along with the DPs i bought several months ago haha!)

Now i am one month away from ///MFest and i needa stop buying shit so i can have money for the trip! somebody stop me!!!! aggghhghauiospejasdl;j!!!!

uhh... nothing to do with parents or their money... which they don't have oodles of i can tell you that.

everything i have and do comes from my own hard work. (alot of which goes into my damn car!!)

this is what happens when you're a young guy driving a car that has endless modification options out there... that makes his own damn money.

You have the confidence that if you fuck up and blow all of your money and can't pay your bills, you're one phone call away from a resolution(I.e parents). That's what makes an impulse buyer, if you didn't have that confidence you wouldn't spend your money because you would be thinking more in advance.

ah now i see what you mean... but really i think i have enough foresight to not fuck up that bad. i keep a good amount of money in savings and even if i do dip in to it every now and then i make sure to return it immediately before anything else.

No Wakka, I was raised with almost nothing, at times I didn't know if we would have groceries the next week. Its not like that now but that feeling has never left me, so it makes it impossible for me to buy something I don't NEED. When I go to the mall ill spend 3 hours and spend $20, its just a habit from the old days. If you want advice OP, treat your money like its all you have left, contemplate whether you REALLY need the items.
