Folding wing mirrors from Fob.
I've seen this topic come up countless times and knew it was possible and had also read this post:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...orsestaurateur A well known Restaurateur and BMW lunatic has also done it,and offered to do it for me, but I have never got round to taking him up on his offer. Anyway as I needed some coding doing for another matter, I asked Darren to code the mirrors, which was duly done this morning, took no more than 15 mins. Whilst doing the coding Darren also told me that there were 5 pages of possible updates for my car (Oct 2008) with a total download time of 5hrs! I didn't have time to go through all the updates and nor did Darren, but it would have been good to pick those that would be beneficial, and avoid those that would have an impact on my MPG Darren will be looking into the Sat/Nav updates for me, as I know it will be a cheaper option than BMW . If anyone based in Surrey or further afield, would like his contact details then PM me. Whilst I highly recommend Darren,I won't post his details, as certain people might object and make a complaint to a certain handheld programming device manufacturer, and I wouldn't want that! Note: For this to work you do need auto-mirrors, if you don't have the button by the wing mirror controls (E92), then it's a no-no bar a retrofit. If all the above is old news to you than disregard it |
