how strong is the drivetrain, anyone break?
Im looking into purchasing a 2007-2008 335xi (manual) and enjoy taking my cars occasionally to the dragstrip, like 1-2 times per year.
how well do the drivetrains hold up to the possible 1.7 60' launches that these cars are capable? are they like glass, or do they hold up pretty well? how many of you have broke on the strip? or hard launching on the street. thanks. |

Outside seriously abusive driving, the cars been very reliable up to 400whp before half shafts could be an issue. However, there are a lot of folks pushing 400+whp for DDs and no issues.
