I had the same issue with some LED bulbs I had off ebay (HIDs UK I think was the seller).

I remember reading a few threads and found that the issue seems to be mainly on 2007 cars (please correct me if this is rubbish), as mine was built June 07 I just sent them back for a refund no problems (they did suggest Ferrite magnets may help though).

Would be good to know if there is something in the car causing it or if there are brands that are 100% issue free though as I really would like to get a new set.

I have some from Ebay on my 2008 335d, they do cause slight interference and I have added the ferrite magnets but it didnt make any difference.

I've had radio interference or RFI from all sorts for Angel eye LEDS. I've had

cheap ebay ones,
expensive Lux H8 v2's

I did try Apline HIDS and these didn't give me RFI issues but they ended up being faulty and I'm still waitong on my money back.

I've resorted to keeping OEM......

My car is a 2006 September build and It seems some cars have a lack of RFI sheilding for the radio......

I actually noticed this today aswell. Whenever I select running lights, activating my LED halos, my speakers (radio set on Aux, IPod paused connected via Aux port) would have a slight hiss. To rule out any other interference, I switched it between running lights and off/auto and the hiss would reoccur only when my halo's were turned on. (day time= no DRL/halos on auto)

I have an 2007 e92, with City vision LEDs (Even with throwing codes and this issue, I’m still pleased)

Yes but they're very area specific, you REALLY need a South East report

How can you guarantee this? Is the power supply completely dfferent? Have you had people plagued with RFI try yours and say its fixed? or are you just stating no one has reported an issue with your yet.

I've become so dis-allusioned as I think my car as an issue that stops protection from RFI emitting sources.

What package and assurances would be on offer to a UK purchaser? Sending items back to the USA isn't great....

the company i deal with to make the power supplies guaranteed me this. One of the first questions they had for me was about radio interference. They helped design a brand new power supply design and eliminated RF interference, and they incorporated this design into the LUX H8 V3 power supplies.

The LUX comes with a 1 year warranty

Would that apply to the E90 V5.1 as well? Is it the same power supply in both?
