Wheel allignment / steering

Hi all,

When driving in straight line my steering wheel is not straight and a bit turned to the right. (335D)

Any ideas on a fix? Is it wheel alignment that needs doing? The tyre's are relatively newish and no sign on them that indicated alignment issues.

BMW wants about £300+ to do the 4 wheel alignment, does any one know if this will fix it and any other place to get it done cheaper?

Thanks in advance,

Garage List
Alternatively anywhere that can do a 4-wheel alignment will fix it

I had a 4 wheel alignment done on the 130i by one of these franchises recently

http://classic.multimap.com/clients/...se2&reclimit=1

Cant fault them and only cost £48.

Rear wheel drive in particular needs a 4 wheel alignment, starting with the rears. The chances are, it is the rear that is out, causing the car to 'crab' and you having to compensate with the steering.

Stay away from Kwik Fit and the like as they only do a front wheel alignment which won't resolve your problem.

5 Degrees is a lot! The tolerance is about .2 of a degree and one of my rears was about .4 out.

It could be the bang has messed up the sensor itself.
