E90post- Time to reconsider security measurement of Sponsor vendor !

I think it is time for E90post to do a security measurement on the Sponsor Vendor or introduce a policy of minimum requirement for the Sponsor vendor so that the same things will not happen again in the future as many have been scammed by the recent hot topic TRENDIX INC.

This thread open to suggestion how to improve safe trading on the FORUM !

Hope no more same things happen in the future

Not only that, i think thier address need to be verified. Only allow proper shop with good reputation to become a sponsor vendor.

i dunno... i think the idea about registering your store address is a good idea... with verified cell phone and shop contact--but in person verification is stretching it. for example... jlevisw has helped many customers coming from all bmws... yet they dont have a physical shop yet--its in the making but by word of mouth, they've been quite good at meeting their demands. likewise.. i can vouch for rorsa cf which produced and sent me a spoiler prompty. i have never been to their shop nor have heard of anybody actually going to their shop... your asking for alot...

I'm glad to hear Rorsa CF is good. I was looking at some of their things. How is that spoiler (OEM CF style with slot?) working out? Good fit, paint color consistant? It was made out of fiberglass right?

i didn't install or paint the oem cf-style with indent because it seemed to aggressive for my car... but the fitment was precise and sharp... as in it flowed extremely well for a product that could be easily mis-made and "bulged" at hte edges. willy @ rorsa will not paint because he does not want the paint to chip on transit which is his preference... and yes it was made out of fiberglass.

Here's how to do it:

When a vendor wants to do a GB involving mass-deposits from the customers, require the vendor to either a) open a bond for the total GB price, or b) enlist the use of an escrow company to hold the funds.

Once everyone receives their products, the money gets released to the vendor. If a vendor cannot afford to start the GB without the "seed" money from the customers for the products, then they DON'T deserve to be a vendor here.

E90post.com should require vendors to use an escrow service and split the cost with the buyers. www.escrow.com charges 3% for their escrow service, with a $25 minimum.

At the MINIMUM, E90post could require that the vendors "offer" the escrow service, and the customer can either accept or decline the use. That way, the risk lies on the customer if they choose to opt-out of the escrow.

Good suggestion. I regarding to the Bond i think for company that wish to become a Sponsor Vendor should put a Bond hold by the admin. This this case if the company trying to run away at least there is still some Bond witheld !
