Got my new E90 335i, Yippee

Picked up the new car tonight after a nine week wait, and first thing I notice is burl walnut trim instead of aluminum. Wife goes nuts, then gets out of the car and sees a ding in the roof. To top it all off, headed home at 11:00 pm and get pulled by a sheriffs officer in an suv hiding in the bushes.

Yep 60 in a 45. We traded in our MY04 S2k and it is night and day difference. I had no idea I was going that fast, but deputy singled me out cause the little bit of traffic on the road was behind me but staying with me.

so they delivered your car with the wrong trim and with a dent in the roof? And you drove it off the lot? I would of refused delivery and had them change the trim and fix the dent and put me in a rental until its finished. You now own the car no matter what happens with the trim and dent from here on in. They dont have to do anything at this point if they don't feel as if they need to...

^When I took delivery, I looked over the car time and time again before I left the lot to make sure everything was in top condition, lol.

I do agree that going fast in this car seems slow. I had no problem doing 40/75 on streets/highways in my old car, but with the 335i, I find myself going 50 or 55 a lot of time when I don't pay attention and jam out to the songs, lol.
