1st allocation at BMW of San Diego...

From my sales rep...

"We have our first 1M allocated and our management will load that car up and display on the showroom. The next cars will be available to clients on our interest list at which you are on the top of. I will keep you posted as I receive more info!"

I would guess that they will be selling that car to the highest bidder.

Good luck on getting your allocation soon.

all I can say is if this car is getting another $5000-10000 tacked on by the dealers, I'm getting something else...rather have a certified E96 M3 for low $40,000's. I thought this car was supposed to be "affordable" so I would hope BMW is going to lengths to ensure this car isn't marked up by greedy dealers...

A Phoenix dealership wants $5000 for it's remaining allocation.

Yikes. I guess they think the market/buyer will support that. If the extra $5K doesn't phase someone, they should pony up another $5K and get the M3.

The E39 M5 and E46 M3 easily got those kinds of mark ups in some California dealers when they were 1st released.

Those greedy dealers sell a lot of cars and get the largest allocations. BMWNA just looks the other way.

I believe you mean E90,92 or 92 M3 Unless the M3 pickup is E96

yes the E92....my bad

But all I've heard is how BMW wants to use the 1 M Coupe to "bring in younger buyers". That's a load of crap if they aren't going to guarantee no mark ups...I won't pay $55,000 for this car. Like I said, I'll either buy a previously owned M3 or I'll just wait a couple of years and buy a lease return M coupe that's been turned in by some badge hound who's moved on to the next "hot new thing"...

I completely agree. 55k for to bring in younger buyer in this market is completely BS

I didn't pay markup on my E90 M and sure will not do if they tag that on to my future 1M. Tracking on BMWUSA indicated that my 1M was born on 3/24/2011. Kindly of excited

Good luck on your 1M or E92 M, you can't go wrong with either car.

Hahaha.... That's funny! I'll drive mine to their dealer and show them before they get theirs!
