Is this anything to worry about?

Just by my airbox i have a black pipe which seems to be covered with some type of black stuff, could it be oil mixed with dust to make it solidify and stick?

Engine doesn't use a drop of oil so don't seem to be loosing any

Not the first time you've said that this week; I'm led to believe...

isnt that the intake pipe from turbo to the intercooler.

I suppose some oil is normal a lot could spell trouble, How old is the car. I've noticed mine by the intercooler join to be covered in oil will behaving that inspected when its in for brake fluid change especially as mine has only done 24k

Only 3 years old, about 38k miles

Drives fine, no abnormal oil drop on dipstick. Just not sure what that pipe is. Wondering if some oil was spilt but it looks like it's ran down that specific pipe.

The diesels suffer a bit with oil in the intake system.
Often it seems to puddle in the intercooler at the lower front of the car.
When the engine is off, and the seals are not pressurised, they can weep a little.

It looks like its near the charge pipe from the turbo, so would make sense.
