there's 2-3 vendors with the price of $800 shipped in the vendor section. they won't list the price because of a deal with cobb, you have to PM them, but accessport's can be had brand new for $800 shipped

How did you like it?

Did you compare it to other Tuners out there?

still a good price seeing as how theres virtually no chance of wear on a flashing unit, unlike piggybacks that run the risk of bent pins, connector damage etc

I liked the tune until BMW reflashed my car and put in a new program because of the fuel pump Which was replaced. After the new program my car had shifting problems and with the accessport they seemed to be amplified. Rob said that he was working on it but it had been over a month with the issues and BMW was no help they said that it was the new software and that there was nothing they could do about it. Besides that issue I had the tail lights short out, they were the LED ones, The BMW symbol on the hood peel, the black door trim around the windows peel and flake off, The AC system had a musty smell which I brought back to the dealer twice and they did an AC system flush and replaced the carbon airfilter, and whenever I went over a bump I had the door seal squeak symptoms which drove me crazy, they had to greese them 2 different times. All in all I had a bad experience with owning a brand new BMW. I don't think I will ever get one again. Sorry for the rant guys but all in all that is why I sold the 335i, it was a beautiful car but a pain in the ass, I compare it to a beautiful woman who has to have everything......VERY HIGH Maintenance.

My 535 is going in for a new fuel pump, injector inspection and a reflash next Wed.
Now I'm wondering if the same thing could happen with my shifting if I install a Cobb Tune.
Will keep you posted.
