Lost sirius settings

3 times in the last 6 months I've started my car and all of my Sirius presets were gone. The regular radio station presets were there, but the Sirus presets were gone (the Sirius channels still worked when I manually tuned to them). I thought maybe it was because the car had sat for a week without being driven while I was out of town and maybe the battery was low or something, but the other 2 times it happened was between when I got to work and when I left the office at the end of the day. Anyone else have this happen? I called the dealer and they were going to check around, but never heard back from them. Just a bit annoying to have to reprogram them all.

This has been the subject of another thread but I cannot recall the fix.

This happened to me a few times during the first week I had my new 2011 F10 500i M-Sport, but then never happened again after that first week.

Reviving an old thread, but this problem continued since 2011, and got progressively worse and by this past winter it was happening 3-4x per day, and then the iDrive would shut down and restart while I was driving. Brought it in to the dealer this week and they said that there was an SIB related to this (SIB 650913). They updated the software (took 1.5 days) and so far so good. They said the SIB solution worked for some cars and did not work for others, so we'll see longer term.
