F10 535d suspension problem?

Has anybody suffered with banging and crashing from the rear suspension on a new 535d when accelerating hard in the wet or on modestly uneven surfaces. BMW seem to be in denial over this. Can anybody help please?

It's probably the traction control kicking in --- when one tire slips, it makes kind of a thumping noise as the other tire kicks in --- kind of like the ABS pulsating.

It cannot be traction kicking in, I've had two m3s previously both of which I frequently 'used' the traction and neither sounded as if an engineer was strapped to the bottom of the car with a sledge hammer.

Try it with the traction control off - if there's no noise, it's as Vinfast suggests.

If you have a relatively early build car with VDC, there is a known issue that requires replacement of your two rear shocks and a new electronic control unit.

This is not a proactive recall. You have to highlight the issue to the dealer.

If you have EDC/Adaptive drive, and early built car, try to upgrade the software on the rear swaybar. The swaybar works with hydrolic in some way and can make some noices. (it helped on my car).
