I'm just hoping they keep the sedan front end on it. I've seen previous spy pictures of the M3 sedan with the coupe's front end grafted on, but unfortunately in these newer images the front isn't visible...

Thanks noflash,

Sweet look awesome!!!

As for 335i or wait for M3 sedan; you just have to know that you will have to wait at least until spring/summer 2008 before you can get your hands on the M3.

You too have a very cool sig E90TT.

P.S.: It will have the sedan front end

It will get the coupe front for sure.

I think you'll like it.

Spring/Summer 2008? Yeesh, I'm too impatient.

Not only that but we're talking at least $50k base right?

I think the only thing other than the V8 power that would lure me away is if it came with SMG instead of just Steptronic.

No Steptronic in M Cars.

6 speed MT is confirmed 100%; second option will be either a new SMG or a Dual Clutch (ie: Better DSG that will behave like a much improved SMG; less jerky & quicker).

Man, don't tempt me. I've already convinced my wife to be OK with the RWD 335i rather than the X-drive. I'm sure she'd be down with the M3 Sedan.

Better DSG ?
Funny, BMW and Ferrari engineers have been trying to build a DSG box for thier roads cars for over 5 years.
With no avail and with public acknowledgement that the DSG box is the best box avaialable.

Hell, it's in a Bugatti Veyron.

They will no doubt have thier own DSG style box, similar to the R Tronic box that is in the new Audi R8.

it's a DSG style box with more aggressive shifting and it also doesn't upshift at redline, it'll bounce off the limiter like a true MT.

At this point, no ones DSG/DCT tranny will be better than the other, as shift times will almost become seamless, like a CVT tranny, similar to those of the Seamless shifting trannies in an F1 car.

Doesn't surprise me it rides a little high- so does the M5... Its too bad as it makes the 19's look smaller but..........there's always dropping- right
