My E90's new brother

Pulling 375 RHWP and 368 RWTQ on a Mustang dyno. Corrected for a DynoJet, 403 RWHP and 396 RWTQ.

I had a CLS55 AMG screwing with me on the highway between Detroit and Chicago. He gave up after 2 attempts of trying to pass me. I never had a leave 4th gear.

I actually enjoyed driving it on the highway more than the M3. It's more comfortable and rides better. I didn't feel like I had driven for 4 hours after getting out of the car. The interior is really nice, the M3's was nice too, but definitely not 10K nicer.

Thanks, it's more like a big brother. It's the only American car I'll own.

My boss has a C5 Z06 (2002 electron blue on black). Holy shit dude. One day we went for a drive. I did a writeup on it. The power was unreal. And the handling. That car took exit ramps at 85-90 mph dead flat. It ate them up. Like driving a go-kart. I couldn't believe how much power that car had...

PS. Drop the advertising license plate frame FTW. Get a solid black one, it'll clean up the back a lot..

i like certain American cars the only problem with the vette is when you take it in for service. my uncle is a vette guy and he hates the chevy dealerships in our area.

Right now mine is pulling about 460-470HP/TQ at the crank so it's only about 30-40 less than a C6 Z06 and it's only got 500 miles on it. It's going to pick up more HP as the motor loosens up. You thought the C5 handled good, go drive or ride in a C6.

Thanks! It really is hit or miss with dealerships. BMW is no different though. Some are good, some are really bad. Luck for me I have 2 really good dealerships close by that are known for taking care of Vette owners.

On the other hand, the local BMW/MB dealer was bought by a corporate entity back in Nov and has really gone downhill since then. My sales rep(who was the #1 guy at the dealer for years) and numerous other have left and gone to the Lexus dealer across the street. It's bad enough that I may be looking at a Lexus for the wife when it comes time to trade in the E90.
