I am sure it will be there, it has been at all the auto shows. NY is a big one.

It will be, VO from what I am told.

Has there been a US auto show where something other than the VO was featured? I don't think so.

Just hoping it is not the prototype tested in C&D (non xenons, manual climate control, crappy exhaust, etc.) but a final production version.

My dealer told me, this was as of 2 weeks ago, so I suppose it may be subject to change. A source at BMW NA told him, so hoping that is reliable enough.

Check the local forum section, there is a group going through BMW CCA earlier than the general public date.

The one last week at the Dallas Auto Show was not the C&D car, but it did have halogens, manual climate, etc. It must be one "just for car shows". I would guess that's the same car you'll see in NYC.

Of course the prototpye will make the full circuit. That's what it's for!?! Let's keep it that way also so that all the production cars are going to people.

I can confirm I saw the 1M at the NYC auto show on Wednesday .. Looks beautiful and very aggressive with the flared body and tires..

Saw VO at the show today and personally it thought it was a dull color trying hard to be 'in your face'. (Please don't take offense)

Yet under direct sunlight I'm convinced this color can really be 'in your face' in an absolutely fantastic way. Too bad I do not live in areas with a high probability of daily sunshine ...

I saw the VO at the show yesterday and fell in love. I was originally going to put a deposit down on an M5, but I truly fell in love and 1 series M coupe it is.
