Talking Just Recevied Vishnu N55 Downpipe!

Guess what! I just got my Vishnu Downpipe from Robert@Vishnu. At first when I ordered it I was a little bummed that I was told that I wouldn’t be getting it until end of April. But surprisingly it showed up faster than expected and I am pleased with Vishnu’s service.

The reason why I picked the Vishnu N55 DP over the AR or icarbon one was from all the feedback on the forums and discussions with downpipe owners. So thanks guys!

Also I’m definitely going with the PROcede for the N55 as my next modification. I got to take a test drive in a Proceded N55 w/ a Vishnu DP and the power blew me away. That thing was ridiculously fast and pulled on a 2011 Mustang 5.0 on the freeway. Seems like I didn't go wrong with choosing the Vishnu products. Shiv is the Man.

Just at my first glance at it I can tell it looks like a high quality product. The flow path design looks consistent, inside of the piping looks smooth and flawless, welds are super clean, the brackets are strong and sturdy and the whole piece just seems solid.

I should be installing it next week at the dyno shop so I’ll def keep you guys posted on the install, drivability and most importantly power numbers.

Stay Tuned for Dyno and sound clips!

Has anyone dynoed this with the Procede yet?

Thanks great Sake... Great Product on my 335i... let us know when you have vids on a stock 135i exhaust, I m curious to see if it sounds like the my N55 335i with the Vishnu Downpipe.

To answer your question, I have the procede and the Vishnu downpipe but have not had a chance to dyno the car.

Oh for the INSTALL - REMEMBER TO LOOSELY TIGHTEN EVERYTHING ON, SO THE ALIGNMENT OF THE DOWNPIPE WILL LINE UP WITH EVERYTHING BEFORE COMPLETING.

DP

Awesome. I am glad everything arrived on time in perfect condition. Now you just have to get it installed and feel the power. Let me know if you have any questions during the install. There shouldn't be any fitment issues at all. Enjoy and be safe out there.

Regards,
Robert@Vishnu

So how much louder is the car after the dp install? I don't need db measurements just overall "it's a bit louder", "a whole lot louder".....

Also a noob question about dps. Once it's on what else do I need to make sure I don't get CELs? How easy is the install/uninstall if I don't like the sound.
The reason I ask is b/c I've installed exhaust on cars in the past and the sound went from good to excessively loud. I couldn't stand not hearing passengers talk to me. Hell, it's a daily driver so it can't sound like a race car.

Like I said noob questions. Thx.

cliverman,

If you are concerned with the sound, then stick with the stock exhaust and catless Dp... the combo is really really awesome... The factory n55 motor sounds sooooo mean.

I would say its between "it's a bit louder", "a whole lot louder".

here is post by Robert@Vishnu

CEL is done with scan tool, O2 simulator and or vishnu procede has it integrated already. Install and Clear :-)

sake fyi, when doing the install make sure everything is loose before tightening because of the alignment of all bolts is very key to making this a easy install. Give me a heads up if you have issues
