Hi Guys,

I have a JB3 unit with 2.0 Chip for sale. Before I sold the car I got an upgrade to JB4 and sold it with the harness. Now I am looking to sell the JB3 without harness.

I will let it go for 90 shipped. Will have pictures shortly

You're supposed to send the old jb3 box back to bms when you do the upgrade. Hence the $20 core charge. A pnp harness is $280.

Without the harness it's not worth much. The core charge and harness pricing are to prevent what you're doing. You'd come out ahead by selling for $90 but the person buying wouldn't when they have to drop $280 on a new harness.

And I may be talking out of my ass here, but it was always my belief that the pnp harness upgrade only included the four connectors. I assumed that the user would then use their pin out wiring harness to effectively turn it into a pnp. I'm sure someone who has actually purchased the pnp upgrade can chime in to what all is included. I really don't think that $280 includes the part of the wiring harness that connects directly to the JB3/4

It used to be that way, but now they charge a $100 core fee upfront.
