I wish BMW would put different color stitching in all the cars if the owner opts for it. They could do it at no real cost to the company. Those seats are pretty cool.

I like the seats. However, they are probably much less expensive to manufacture than the stock sports seats and probably cost 3x as much...
They remind me of the Recaro Speeds I had in my 911, which had nice red stitched trim... ianc

The cool seats the EU get usually aren't USDOT compliant because of airbags or something. The Euro spec TT-RS has seats similar to those stock, but I recall an article stating US wouldn't be getting them for same reason.
Those would totally rock in a 1M though with all the other Alcantara bits. |

Yes, because BMW has people standing around waiting to custom stitch every seat. Sheesh b Someone needs a lesson in manufacturing costs. |

They sit a lot higher than our seats so if you have a sunroof (all of us), its really cramped. I sat in one and knew it wouldnt work for me.

I will put the Recaro Sportser CS in full (real) leather in my VO 1M..
But no orange stitching, have a look at the doors, you will see leather parts in black with a single black stitching.. |

LOL, Touche. Still a note to think about. I would check the headliner but hopefully it's the same as the euro non-sunroofs.
