So who is going to be the first one to fit these in the 1M with orange stitching?

I wish BMW would put different color stitching in all the cars if the owner opts for it. They could do it at no real cost to the company. Those seats are pretty cool.

I like the seats. However, they are probably much less expensive to manufacture than the stock sports seats and probably cost 3x as much...

They remind me of the Recaro Speeds I had in my 911, which had nice red stitched trim...

Are those BMW Performance seats available in the US? If so, from where? I would put them in my 1M even if the stitching didn't match.

Unless things have changed, they are not for sale in the US.

The cool seats the EU get usually aren't USDOT compliant because of airbags or something. The Euro spec TT-RS has seats similar to those stock, but I recall an article stating US wouldn't be getting them for same reason.

Those would totally rock in a 1M though with all the other Alcantara bits.

Those are way too pricey for $5k. There are alternatives that are cheaper I bet.

Yes, because BMW has people standing around waiting to custom stitch every seat. Sheesh b

Someone needs a lesson in manufacturing costs.

They sit a lot higher than our seats so if you have a sunroof (all of us), its really cramped. I sat in one and knew it wouldnt work for me.

These seats are only available in white stitching.
Maybe some interior-tuning company can change the stitching, but I guess that would take some $$$.

BMW price in Europe is 3000 euro. If they would sell these in the US, price would be about 3000 $.

I will put the Recaro Sportser CS in full (real) leather in my VO 1M..
But no orange stitching, have a look at the doors, you will see leather parts in black with a single black stitching..

$5K is nothing for the //M driver. Heck... one of those AKROPROVIC exhausts will cost that much if not more for the 1M.

LOL, Touche. Still a note to think about. I would check the headliner but hopefully it's the same as the euro non-sunroofs.
