so i already have a pair of individual subwoofers in my car and was thinking of returning the car to its originals.... but i have just been offered a complete set of individual speakers that would make up a complete set......

if the money is right i will be willing to sell these on to forum members.....

my subs will be up for sale at 165+ pp ......so let the offers flowwww.......

Can you give a list of all the speakers? Do the door mid-range speakers have the 3 screw socket mounting which the non-individual speakers have? And are they 2 ohm?

its basically all the interior speakers(4 mids, 1 dash and 2 smaller ones)....i believe individual speakers are 4ohmms(ill have to check tho).....i might try and get some pics.

Yes please check if 2 ohm or 4 ohm and get pics.

Also should there be 4 x tweeters - individual audio has 2 rear tweeters and 2 front tweeters, afaik.

Could you check if ALL the speakers are 4 ohm, or just the subwoofers? Or even better post another photo of the back of the speakers where it has the specs printed. Also are there another two tweeters which are not visible in this picture?

If the BMW Individual tweeters and mid-range are 4 ohm that means they are different to the speakers in the base, HiFi and Logic 7 systems.

Post the part numbers and/or a photograph of the back. Potential buyers need to check they are the right impedence (2 ohm - 4 ohm).

Reading through the thread I see lot's of 'comments' suggesting or confirming these were the top of the range BMW option to have from factory, but can you confirm the following points if you know the answers:

1. Will they work with my existing factory subs under the front seats?
2. Will they work on the standard CD player (Professional) in my 335i Coupe or do I need the amp?
3. Do you have the orignal grilles for them, my car has the basic set up, so it might be the same fitting behind the grilles so no need for them?
4. I assume the extra single larger speaker sits in the dash space and the tweeters go in the rear next to the rear speakers, is the wiring for the centre already there or included in this kit like the tweeters?
5. Is all the required wiring included?

I have these same speakers, just a quick question, what amp were you using with these? and on mine, the mids are 4ohm but tweeters are 8ohm (only the front ones, rears are 4 ohm). interesting.
