Wheel showrooms in Atlanta?
Hi, I picked up an 07 e90 last summer, and it needs new wheels. I have spent hours on this site reading and looking at all the great setups. But I really need a place where I can see some of these wheels in person. Anyone know of a good showroom in the Atlanta area?
These will go on a stock barbara red 07 e90. I can't decide between a high gloss black or a more traditional setup. |

You can go to Butler Tires, Discount Tires. They have some of the wheels in the showroom.

Butler tire will probably be the only place that will carry wheels fit for a bimmer (although I use discount for everything else)

More than likely most shops are going to give you a brochure and maybe have a few manufacturer wheels in stock for you to be able to evaluate finish and quality. More than likely they won't have all the styles of a given manufacturer.
Best bet is pick a pricepoint and decide what your needs are (ie, race, lightweight, show, daily driver, 1 pc, 2 pc, 3 pc, step lip, reverse lip, forged or cast etc) Then, with these parameters, experienced wheel owners will probably be able to point you in a better direction. From there, use the boards and local meets to get together with individuals who have these types of wheels, ask them their thoughts and inspect the wheels. I for one have seen many wheels in person and owned quite a few. From experience, I cannot tell the difference between HRE, IFORGED, DPE, in terms of look and feel as a parameter to determine quality. My only suggestion is this: it has been my experience that the major brand wheels ie., BBS, OZ, Volk, etc are reliable, durable, and able to stand a better test of time. They are also usually easier to find if/when looking for a replacement. And the vast majority hold their value quite well. GL
