Awwwwsome. I have been waiting to see what track times would be with a competent driver behind the wheel. This should put some of the naysayers in their place. Wonder what it would do to the M3 with a set of the cup tires on. Quite nice to wake up in the middle of the night to this.

Another time for comparison is seeing as the 1M has been compared to it by another mag already.

no, 0.1 sec faster (1.14,2 from Sport Auto 7/2010). And it did not have semi-slicks (Michelin PS2)!

I suspect BMW sent a "fast" 1M Coupe to Sport Auto. Easy to do with a turbo engine.

It was an E92 M3 with Competition Package (ZCP) and DKG/DCT.
