While waiting for my 1M... How about you?
My wife has wanted a Mini Cooper for about the last two years, so last week we ordered a 2011 Mini Clubman S with the Hampton Package.
These Mini are so much fun to drive, and feel very much like a small BMW. Build quality is excellent. Power and driving feel is great. Our Mini is due to be built this week or next and delivered end of June or first of July. We are very happy to be new members of the Mini family as well as the BMW family. Now if only my 1M were this close to being in my driveway!! Still waiting very impatiently.

I bought us a Polo GTI (those Stateside won't get this car, sorry) while we are waiting for the 1M. The Polo is coming in 2 weeks, which will go a long way to help me till July. I love hot hatches as much as powerful rear wheel drive cars!

Dude, congrats and welcome to the family
I drive a 2006 R53 and if I can't find a 1M then I'll be looking for either a JCW Clubman or else waiting to see what the JCW Countryman looks like.

BMW is developing a 4 cylinder 2.5 turbo with around 300hp for the WRC road car. Yup, it's true eventhough you won't read that anywhere. With the good doctor now heading up the MINI brand, we can be sure that this car will be made available. Can't wait!

Since BMW UK delayed the release of my car to May 14th, my dealer has given me a new 120d with performance pack to keep me going.
Although I am a repeat customer, I'm still impressed with this level of customer care. |

Yesterday I drove a Fiat 500 Sport, and may end up buying one. I have to trade my 335i at least a month before my Euro delivery, and my 1M will take six weeks or so to get back to Houston after my trip, and I was planning on just renting something. I'm going to need a car for at least two months, probably three, and it probably won't cost me much more to buy the Fiat and then sell it than it will to rent something I'll absolutely detest driving. The Fiat is slow (painfully so!) but it's cute and kind of fun to drive. I understand they're selling extremely well and at fixed-price, so I'm thinking I should be able to get in and out of it for maybe $1500. At most I'd put 1000 miles on it, since I've got two cars and a garage full of motorcycles to use.

My wife has a brand new Ice Blue Cooper S in Israel; in Monaco we have a pre-facelift Cooper S with the full Cooper Works kit (before BMW stopped doing it as a retro-fit upgrade). Absolutely fantastic cars, and long-time BMW owners will know what I mean when i say it feels just like a miniaturised BMW. It's all about the control-weights...
