First shots of new toy

Not a great shot I know, but here's the first pic of my new 325d Touring. Can't wait until Monday to pick it up!

The 3 Series Touring is a really nice looking car IMO, and very smart in that grey metallic.

The 325d engine is also very good value, quite a big saving over the 330d for not that much loss of performance, and so much nicer to drive than the 320d. 6 pots definitely better than 4.

Let us know the full spec when you pick it up.

Thanks guys

I like the rims too......they're 17" "284"'s, an option on the configurator at the time. I think it looks "old school" BMW which is me down to a tee. Think I shall ban all music in the car after 1980!

Other bits on it are black dakota leather; Sports seats; Prof Media Pack; Visibility pack; Sport Steering wheel and servotronic; debadged; folding mirrors; bum warmers; slidey armrest thingy; PDC front and rear; foldy rear headrests; and all the usb bits and bobs to get my iphone hooked up.

Bob - I still can't believe that folding rear headrests are an option (I have them too)!!!

Nicely specced! What's the visibility pack? Think the 335d might come with some stuff like that as standard - auto wipers and dimming mirrors? Or something else?

Assume it has run flats? Worth ditching them pronto.

335 Diesel.........The Visibility pack is like you say, auto wipers, dimming mirrors (I think externally too but not sure) plus Xenon's and that new fangled auto main beam on off thingy......and I think it adapts to corners too.

Yup it comes with the dreaded RFT's which I shall bin. Having said that, my 123d that I'm trading in, has dealer fitted RFT winter tyres on and they've been on since early October. There's hardy any wear on them and certainly no edge wear, and I found them quite good all round. The only reason I've not put the summer's back on yet is I've been waiting a wee while for the 325d to come through.

Roll on Monday......time to run it in a bit
