Debadge or Shadow Emblem?
After opinions if anyone wants to share?
I can't decide whether to debadge completely or whether to replace the chrome 330d with gloss black, to match the gloss black grilles and darkline lights I've got planned? Something like this:

I'm going the same way with the grill and darklines, on my 330. I think I will debadge. Anyone know if the badge is just stick on with no prongs or anything? I haven't looked into it yet

Debadge all the way. Nice and clean rear.
Hair dryer with some dental floss should get the badge off. Then some alcohol solution to get the rest of the glue off. Gazza

Mine is de-badged and I prefer it looks wise.

I tried those Bimmian lettes on my Silver car but never sure it works on silver.
So, I have "335i" letters in gloss black (Bimmian) for sale if anyone wants to PM me. They need adhesive (I'd use rubber contact adhesive or 3M) as they have been fitted and removed but are undamaged. Steve

Hmmm... A majority in favour of debadging, which is free I'll keep thinking for a while, I want to do it all in one go, so I'll wait till I have the darklines and black kidneys. If the debadge doesn't work, I suppose it would be cheaper to use the removed chrome numbers and spray them gloss black?

I've just de-badged mine tonight and I'm over the moon with the result. Looks much 'cleaner' now. It's an easy job as well, about ten minutes and a bit of effort! The dental floss method in the DIY section of this forum is good too, I debadged a previous car using a credit card which took longer and scuffed the paint work slightly and had to be polished out.
