Talking I'm a 'clay' virgin no more...

Never clayed a car before.... until today!
Gathered my weapons of choice:-

Autoglym Bodywork Shampoo Conditioner
Bilt Hamber Clay
Water Spray Bottle
Autoglym Super Resin Polish
Autoglym HD Wax
Autoglym Instant Tyre Dressing
Turtle Wax Extreme Wheel Wax
Lambswool mitt, Mequiars waffle towel and many microfibre cloths.

Wash, clay (including the wheels and windows), wash, dry, hoover inside, polish, wax, dress & wax wheels....
Four hours later I'd got a very aching arm, but a much cleaner car.
Not too impressed with my pics, I just wanted to collapse into a chair with a coffee...

Now to attack the rusty hubs and get something done about the droopy tail pipe!

Looks good mate, what have you used on your tail lights to 'fill in' the White reversing light section? Is it the spray on tint or a film cover? I'm not keen on the black lines so I'm looking for alternative options!

Good job. Sparkling Graphite scrubs up beautifully, doesn't it?

Thanks, didn't really see any marring...?
But perhaps I was being very gentle, my first time and all...
What it did highlight (looking at the car so closely) is the amount of stone chips on the front bumper and leading edge of the bonnet.
Not horrendous, but more than I'd thought.
There's also a bit of what looks like a watermark, but under the paint on the OSR door...??
Might pop back to BMW for their opinion.

great to see more members looking after the bodywork proper.
Just done my 6 monthly clay and wax and i will machine polish in the autumn.
My choice of weapons are collinite 915 wax, ez glaze 2, meg claykits and wash and gloss. If it becomes a hobby, i cannot recommend the collinite enough. Glass finish and 6 months per coat.
your car looks great.

It's amazing the difference claying makes isnt it?
Looks great - sparkling graphite is probably my favourite colour, not that I'm biased or anything

Only recently discovered clay and I am now a lifelong fan - brilliant stuff.
