Lightbulb Greetings from Hong Kong!!! BMW newbie :)

Hi folks!

This is Kris from Hong Kong, I've already confirmed my flight to London for a short journey. This is my 1st time to visit London (*except for changing flight to Barcelona and waited at Heathrow airport last year). WOW I'm now checking the guide book and planning my sightseeing schedule, so excited!!! although I feel a bit confused about the train / tube route.
Haha, do you have any recommendation for me if I'm interested in cars related stuff? OR anything must go and see?
Secondly, I'm into music and I'd love to get some quality music records from UK, any record store recommended for electronic music like Dubstep, DnB, House, etc.? OR any underground stuff I should try?
Lastly, I want to purchase a BMW leather case which couldn't be found in HK, as shown below:

Item# 80232149936

Do you know if it's available in BMW Lifestyle Shop in UK?

Thank you for all your help BMW friends in UK!

Cheers!
K.

I recommend you just turn up somewhere expensive, like Chelsea or Kensington or Belgravia and walk around. If you like cars you will see plenty of expensive ones just parked on the street.

Bentleys street parking are so ghetto.

MB World in Slough is a good place to visit. You get to smash a few AMG's around their track. Not sure if need to book first though - check the website.

Hi mate, I would recommend hiring one of the transport for london bicycles in central london, then you wont have to bother with the tube. most landmarks are close to each other anyway so a bike would be ideal. you can also return the bike to any docking station and there are loads in the central area. another bonus is they are dead cheap, its £1 for 24 hour access then free for the first 30 mins of usage
as for music, have a wander around the tottenham court road area W1, there are few places if I remember correctly (im not a big music person).

I'd agree, great place but it's not in Slough! (It's nr Weybridge)

What country/planet do you live in/on Vaheed?

stonehenge is near bath, and you can go to stratford upon avon via oxford.

so stonehenge -> bath -> oxford -> stratford -> london

if you arrange it that way, that might save some time in travelling and more on relaxing/sightseeing. sounds like a pretty full agenda

+1 to rearranging the route

How are you getting about? If you're using the train then www.thetrainline.com is a good site for checking out journey times

I agree - 2 days of walking around London and I'd be fit for nothing! Have a brilliant time though, OP, it sounds like you've got a good trip planned

Also i think you underestimated the distance you be travelling around, for example if you are just walking all day you are looking about CWB sogo to Wan chai exhitbition distance X 2 or 3 times. windsor castle would be the size of ocean park , and train travel will take a couple hours from long distance , worth checking out how long each journey is to plan your time wisely
