1M engine spec(ulation)s
So there has been lots of talk on here about how the 1M engine isn't different enough from the Z4 and 335is and so on. I believe that the engine is different in some way and we just don't know exactly. In any case, I know the M engineers told WLKSFTLY that there might be more power than suggested (wink, wink, nudge, nudge). I am starting to believe (based on intuition) that this car might make 335 wheel horsepower and not 335 at the crank. I know Ford made Roush do this when they came out with the 540RH because it was more powerful than the GT 500. So even though they said it had less hp than the GT 500 it was actually more at the crank. They did this not to step on the toes of "big brother." Does anyone else think this? I am interested to see some dynos when people get a chance. Also just to note I am going to enjoy this car for what it is and am not in anyway trying to compare it to the M3 before anybody reads anything into it.
