I've joined the e90 et27 club!
I'm fairly new to e90Post, however found it a really useful source of research before buying a new set of wheels. As a way of thanks I'd like to share my learnings and experience for those in a similar situation to me.
I own a e90 330d m sport and soon opted for a set of genuine BMW 19" 230 style alloys. I liked the fact they were not available for the e90 and to be honest easy to clean! However I soon discovered I'd picked up a cracked rear alloy due to the numerous pot holes in this country and my RFT tyres. After getting a quote from BMW to replace the one wheel, I decided to seek the help of forums to find an alternative solution. After much diliberation I opted to go for a new set of 19" CSL Style Alloys in Hyper Black. I spoke to Mark Blunden at BMautosport in Eastbourne and he is one of the most knowledgeable and helpful people you will find. I really like the staggered aggressive look so was keen to go for 8.5" et40 front and 9.5" et27 rears. Mark had not fitted these to a e90 before, however after seeing it has and can be done on e90Post I took the chance and I'm really please I did. I've attached just a few pictures for you all, I hope you like them. |

Thanks everyone.
Ed335d - I know my hubs are a disgrace, it became really obvious with the new wheels! What would you recommend to use?

LexS - I've got 225/35/19 front and 255/30/19 rear. Although I'll be changing over to 265/30/19 rear at the next tyre change as these wheels are 9.5 (my old ones were 9). I'm fairly confident it'll be fine as I've got no problems at the moment and there's still room.
zltm089 - I don't think they are branded, I believe Mark gets them made for BMautosport specially. Again not sure where they are made but they are good quality and fit perfectly without any spacers. However please note I've got a e90 and the rear arches have slightly more room than a e92. He does very similar wheels with a et35 rear for those with slighty less room and they still look very staggered and agressive. Give him a call as he'll have all the answers to your questions 01323 647222.

Congrats mark! Wheels and car look brilliant! I was very close to ordering the hyper black myself, cept I didn't think my SE was aggressive looking enough to be able to pull it off, so I went with silver!
M-sport and hyper black look the part! Loved the deeper concave in them too! Enjoy! Tom |

Thanks. They vary in price depending on size and offset, but you're looking at around £600 ish for just the wheels, but he can sort out tyres for you as well if you need them.

The black car with the hyper black looks outstanding. I went for hypersilver but wish I'd chose differently now. I've had the same csls on my car for over 2 months now and they've been great. Not knocking mv3's but the e9xx's are totally transformed with these wheels.

I love the CSLs on your touring and it sealed the deal for me. It was a risk going for hyper black, but I thought it should work on a black car. The best thing about the finish is they change the look of the car depending on the light i.e. look titanium when the sunshines but almost black at night which is a nice feature... there's always next time.
