1M Coupé Parts on RealOEM
Hi all.
Don't know if anyone posted it yet... the 1Ms parts catalogue is available on RealOEM http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partgrp.d...3341&lang=enUS Those that it's not "M enough" for can now go and look up exactly which part was used in other cars also. BTW: Mine arrived today. Mods (Performance seats, Performance alcantara steering wheel, Performance spoiler, black kidneys, carbon mirror covers, 4-point harnesses, steel brake lines, rebuilt shifter, Pirelli P Zero Corsas) go on the beginning of next week and I hope to pick it up on Wednesday. That will end "theoretical" for me then. Cheers Peter

I would be skeptical of the accuracy of the catalog. The designation for the N54 and the 4-digit model code are incorrect. Plus, the part number for the grills (minor point) are different from the 135 on the site, but according to Evan @ Tischer they are the same part. So different numbers won't necessarily mean different parts.

I want the actual shifter to be longer, but have the "throws" (the distance the shifter travels when changing gears) made shorter. That's why the thing will be taken apart and parts will either be replaced or parts will be specially made.
I'll take some pics tomorrow, when I go to look at the car and a bunch when the car is ready and I have picked it up for good. And maybe I'll take onboards on the Nordschleife once it's broken in... just to show how slow the car really is.

EmmDrei - I will be very interested in reading your thoughts on the 1M seeing how you have so much seat time in the e92 M3 v8.
And some Nordschleife lap times would be nice - but I can already hear the nay sayers talking trash about your quick lap times were because of your new Pirelli P Zero Corsas tires. |

The first (low quality) pics. There it is:
And then I had a little surprise in todays mail... the design sketch to the 1M Cool! Will probably be picking it up on Wednesday. No Corsas however, regular P Zero System. Pirelli can't seem to deliver, I'll probably have to do the break-in on the stock Michelins. The advantage: those that say it was just the tires won't have a reason to.

^ OP: Have a lot fun with the new one once it's spec'd to your likings :-)
BSM LOOKS SO GOOD! Those who's saying that black hides the curves, I say yes maybe sideways but surely not from in front or the backside. |

The ETK catalog is accurate for the most part - of course with every new ETK update there are always flaws... like with every program.
