So my car was in for a brake fluid flush, or whatever it is that they do, and while booking it in he said it needed a microfilter too, now the fluid was going to cost about £110 to change inc labour so I thought, here we go! ( this is the first time my car has been to a bmw garage since I bought it).

Buuuuuut, the service desk chap tells me that my car has a care package on it until March 2012 and it's all free!

Now he said there is no way of telling if a car has said package or not, but they could have easily charged me!

I'm surprised the seller didn't mention it, as it can help the sale. Mine has it and was a major + for me.
It cost the original owner £1000

I'm sure they used to - I had an E46 with a sticker in the boot that declared Service Inclusive. Sadly it had run out by the time I got the car, although it was trouble-free for me until I sold it at 140k

its very easy to tell as its logged against the car, 110 is very steep for brake fluid. Just had mine done under service cover and invoice is £65 all in

I bought the car from lexus so I was unaware it had the pack, and my invoice has a total of £0

I've used them a few times and they're pretty good. The one at the Silverlink is allot more reliable in terms of timescales etc IMO.
