Interior Car Cleaning

Guys, what do you use to clean the interior of your car? I purchased Z9 and Z10 for the leather interior but what about the dashboard, armrest...basicially, the vinyl and plastic area? Armor all? Suggestions are appreciated.

Armor all should be illegal.

Just a soft damp cloth to pick up the dust.

I use Meguiars Quick Detailer followed by a soft towel. It gets my son's fingerprints off the trim.

This stuff w/ micro fiber works the best for a clean freak like me, no bad smell. Look for it, INTERIOR Quick Detailer.

303... it's the best stuff out there.

Nice matte look, not greasy at all, plus protects against UV rays.

I start by using one of those Swiffer dusters to dust the gauge cluster, and all stereo/HVAC controls. Then I do the dash. I follow it up with a damp cloth, and everything looks great. The Swiffer does a great job at getting in the touch to reach places.

I use Z10 on all the vinyl pieces. It gives a nice matte look and isn't greasy at all.

+2 This is what I use, mainly because 303 Aerospace Protectant is not easy to find locally. Eventually, I plan to try 303.

Use 303 aero space cleaner and then 303 protectant on you dash. Use Lexol cleaner and conditioner for your leather. Then use the Swiffer for later dust use. You can't go wrong.Make sure you mix the 303 right.

Armor All is terrible, I regrettably used their interior cleaning product, left greasy looking spots in places. D

Does anyone know what I can do to get rid of the spots?

I am going with Zaino for now on.

When I am waxing or sealing the car, I use 303.

Between wax and sealing, just washes, I use Megs Interior QD.

If you use 303 every time, it isn't going to hurt, but Meg's is a lot easier to work with.

Either just a barely damp microfiber towel, or Mequire's interior quick wipes. I have a couple different cleaners for leather.

A lot of people here really hate Armor All. I agree, it sucks on interiors, but it works well on tires and fender wells.
For interior I really like Megs Quick interior detailer as others have mentioned. It has light cleaning abilities and no visible residue. It is also supposed to leave a bit of UV protection. As a dressing, I use Megs Vinyl and Rubber Protectant; non-greasy matte look. Touch it up with the Quick Detailer and you are good to go.

For general cleaning purpose such as removing dust, finger prints, grease, so long the product is oil-free, wax-free, ammonia-free; it should be fine. I would think Anti-static spray for electronics and audio equipment should be the best for cleaning non leather upholstery of the interior.
Any other products (including Mothers Showtime Detailer, Meguiars Quick Detailer), if excessively/incorrectly applied (or without removing any residues properly) in the front panel, is subject to strong sunlight, heat and the end result can be quite unpredictable.
I will not use just water and a towel except for emergency.
