AC Schnitzer Springs for F10 w/AD?

Anybody have these on their 550 (Or any model F10)? I would love to see how the drop looks and comments on how the ride is. RD Seems to be the best with Adaptive Drive but I heard ACS Springs are about half the cost.

Thanks in Advance!

I am having ACS suspension installed on my F10 as we speak, should be ready in a day or two. I am driving a ACS demo car right now, F10 535 non AD, and I like the lower center of gravity, looks nice too!

How much are RD springs, be shocked if they are 2x the price. Also, would be interesting to see the discussion on RD being better then ACS, I looked around a lot and never saw that. Thanks.

Please let me know how they ride. I see your new car has AD. Are there two different versions of the springs? If so, what is the part number you ordered? My car will have the AD

Thanks for the help!

That price is really cheap, really. Is that for 4 springs or just 2?

Thank you.

I ordered a set for the RWD. I'm not sure if they work on X-drive cars. Contact Vince at EuroRev.com

Call (310) 216-1220 ask for Vincent. Tell him Anand sent you. Price for the springs may vary but they are around $500-$550. I got a bit lower price only because I ordered wheels and tires thru him too.

Thanks so much for the pics. Car looks excellent! Does it ride smooth like stock but with increased steering wheel?

The car is definitly more connected to the road. It isnt harsh at all but you feel the road whereas prior the steering wheel was a bit numb to that feedback. The car of course handles much tighter as it has a much lower center of gravity. I dont find myself switching to sport mode (suspension only) like I always did when I got in my car. Sport mode is literally acting like it should be, when I am pushing the car, otherwise normal is what you would expect. For the cost, imo, the mod is a "no brainer".

I agree and thanks for the link.

I am going with them since they are not as much of a drop as the others and I have the snow and horrible NJ roads to worry about.

My car is Non AD so I will report back after install

delvek,
Mind sharing what the ACS part numbers are for the spring set fitting the 550i with AD? My local BMW (which is also the ACS dealer) has no clue whether the set they have is for 550i with AD

Many thanks!

ACS is testing their lowring spring kit for 550i xDrive. It will be available in few weeks. These spring are different from non xDrive springs. Stay tuned, I will post here once it's available.
