CPO 2008 X5 4.8i

Just picked up a CPO 2008 TiAg/Black/ Bamboo X5 4.8i for the Mrs. I'll be surprising her when I pick her up at O'Hare on Sunday afternoon. She has LOVED the X5 since we first test drove it back in 2008, but we decided to replace our car first. I've been part of E90Post for a couple of years now (2009 335xi); figured I'd join the SAV crowd. Here are a couple of iPhone pics in the garage.

It is pretty well loaded with Premium, Technology, Premium Sound, Cold Weather, Sport, Rear Climate, Rear Seat Heat, Power Tail, 20" Premium Wheels, etc. The only option I wish it had, but doesn't, is Comfort Access. Not a big deal, but I've become spoiled with my car! At only 21,500 miles, it is barely older than my 2009 3-series at 19,000.

I'll get some decent shots next to the 335 in the future. Cheers!

P.S. After playing with this one, I've really come to appreciate the "new" iDrive. The nav is really clunky on this thing. Functional, just not as nice as the newer version on my '09 E90.

Make sure to tell us about your wife's reaction when you pick her up from the Airport on Sunday (today). I got MAJOR brownie-points when I got our X5 for my wife last Christmas.
I borrow it on the weekends when I go on my Home-Depot run.

Thanks for the replies.

She was absolutely thrilled when I picked her up! I texted her from the dealer on Friday, stating that it sold already, but that our CA would keep looking for one similar. She was pretty bummed. When she saw me roll up at O'Hare, she just about screamed.

She drove halfway home (can't deal with O'Hare traffic), and absolutely loves it.

One problem - she asked how I was going to top this next time she goes to Florida.....

Thanks. It was a major selling point for the house 10 years ago. I coached my wife we looked at it to keep emotional outbursts to a minimum, or possibly risk bargaining power. She almost lost it when we saw the kitchen, but I quickly put my finger to my lips - "Shhh". When I walked into the garage, she did the same to me.
