105,000 miles

Please bear in mind the mileage is 90% motorway. I did 50k of these miles in the past 2 years, all on the M6 and M1. the car has had a very easy ride and drives like a car with over half those miles on.

It has also benefitted in an ignition remap by www.e-maps.co.uk to better the fuel economy and the performance (275bhp and 600nm at 40+ average MPG)

It is very subtley modified with colour coded front grills, smoked side repeaters and black exhaust tips. also sporting black and white BMW emblums all round.

As you can see from the pictures, it is a very well looked after car and i am sad to have to sell up, but i am being forced into a company car.

£8950

Beautifully prepared and amazingly well looked after, must have been motorway mileage as you say (and ultra fastidious ownership)! Love the pictures too and the carefully chosen upgrades.

(The only blemish I can see is a bit of grease on the engine cover... obviously, easily wiped off )

Good luck with the sale, someone will get a beauty

Thanks dude! the black marks on the engine cover have been there since i got it, cant seem to get them off. i think its had some "muck" on there and the bonnet lining has ground it in. shows its been used though, and i have not really tried too hard to get it off... but i will now!!

Its been on A/T and PH since monday and not had a nibble yet... It is priced quite highly, but i think its worth it when you see some of either the dogs for sale for £10k or the 30k milers for £15k!

Looks lovely but if you as a seller think its priced high then what will a prospective buyer think who will always value your car less than you feel. My advice as always, price realistic and it should go quick.

True. i honestly feel its well priced for what it is. there are cheaper ones for sale, with more miles, less spec, obviously not as good condition. and then above are newer, lower mileage models but they demand a higher premium! like a few threads down here, there is a good spec 330d with low miles a year newer for £15k! so that makes my £11k look like a bargain!

its a really tough market right now and it really should be a buyers dream! just not many out there is seems!

Thanks Mark, does seem very tough out there! not far from ebay reserve now, but have my reservations on A if it will meet it, and B if it does, will the sale actually go through!!

lots of watchers, but probably a few from here, a few owners of similar cars, nosey people etc.. out of 90 watchers, how many are potential buyers??

+1
Everybody tends to get quite excited when they see watchers. The problem is these people are exactly that - Watchers. They just watched the auction. I would estimate about 10% of watchers are genuinely interested in buying the car.

Watchers are a strange breed for sure. i had 12 watchers on a recent auction and no one bought the item! relisted again, watchers appeared and failed to sell again!

Not as strange a breed as the early bidders!!

I started the car at 99p for the craic. some people bid like £300, £900, £2000 only never to be seen bidding again. do they honestly think they would get it for that? litterally after 20 minutes, from 99p, it was over £5k but non of those bidders have featured since its got close to the business end..

they are IMHO the strangest breed!!

Along with the text/message mob... "how much cash u want bruv", "how much cash wins car", how much u want" etc etc. no punctuation etc! lol

Ahh yes the random early bidders. chancers maybe, possibly testing your reserve to see if they can bag a bargain and run around to your house and slap £5k in your hand! or more likely idiots
