Getting the horn for E90 M3
getting that feeling again when i know im going to buy another car.
After never really digging the e92 m3 the e90 m3 is looking sexier every time i look at one. Think im going to find A silverstone DCT. Anything to look for when buying one of these? its nearly 2 years since i had a BMW its now time to come back.

Don't know what to look out for Steve but I passed a Silverstone E90 M3 today and it really looked good. I can certainly see the attraction!

Agreed, the 4 dr does look good in Silverstone and a nice easy colour keep clean and looking good. Not sure what these need I would assume all the usuals, Nav, phone, hi - fi etc. and then spend time investigating the suspension, standard or the electronic dampers to see what drives better or needed for residual.

Silverstone is a lovely colour and really suits the M3. How about this one Stevie? Seems like decent value and probably wont loose much value in a short period.

Blimey - that is cheap for a 10 plate Edition model (same lower suspension as the competition pack I believe?). Its got nice kit on it too - individual audio and adaptive lights aren't necessary but they are good options.
I didn't know you were getting one of these - did you chop in the GTR for it? You still after one of those RS3's or have you come to your senses? |

Get one. The e90 looks so much better and is way more rare. I never ever see any but funnily enough the one posted by Peter is pretty close to me. I may just go stare at it

I know exactly what you mean Steve. I've been looking recently. Having had a couple of E46 M3's and E39 M5's I fancy an E90 M3 saloon. Best of both worlds. Liking this one. A lot

E90 M3's winners!!
I reckon the Stafford meet converted you pal best of both worlds! 4.0V8 and the kids climb in and out easy peasy! Wouldn't worry about EDC? Ask most owners who have it the last time they used it?! Mine runs 'standard' suspension on Eibach springs. Looks better and rides great! I would 100% get DCT tho, completes the car IMO and really suits the engine and the style of driving this car thrives on |

I'm still surprised at how reasonable these cars have become (and the coupes discussed on another thread). Admittedly the lower mileage/1 owner cars still seem to attract a premium but, if these factors aren't important to you, you can still get yourself in a belting car for 320d money (if you can afford the running costs).

Steve you can't go wrong with an E90 M3
Initially I really wanted to get back into a C63 AMG but felt with the imminent arrival of the facelift model it did not make financial sense to spend £40k on an outgoing model. So instead I bougt an M3 Saloon. I must say though that this car has exceeded my expectations, it really is a fantastic all rounder. DCT and EDC are must have options it's also important that the software updates have been carried out. Sorry for the thread hijack!
