X3 Key Programmable button?
Hi,
I have seen a picture of the key for the X3 and noticed that below the boot (or trunk if your American at home) release button, there is a triangle button like the programmable Rhomb button on the E60 5 Series wheel. What does it do?! Is it a programmable button? Thanks! (or "fanks" if you're a bit thick (or "fick"))

That button is for panic mode. It will set off the alarm if you hold it for a couple of seconds. It also will switch on the the courtesy light delay if you press it briefly.
