i believe it. the last car i had 19's on was my g35 coupe and that thing was already a slow turd and adding heavier wheels with more rotational mass made it feel even slower. 19's aren't for performance, that's for sure. it's all about the bling bling. luckily this is a turbo car so adding extra power is super easy. get a cobb ap

Rears are 255-35-19 fronts are 235-35-19 yes they are staggered, getting a wheel aligment done as we speak hopefully it helps.

You need to lower your car with either H&R sport springs - OR, if you have the money - KW V1xi coilovers.

http://www.kw-suspension.com/us/kw_variant_1.php

This will drastically improve your ride & get rid of the gap.

The V1s will improve ride....springs won't.

This reply has nothing to do with the floaty feeling. Have you checked to see if your size tires are within the 1% rotational difference. Wondering this as I was told you had to run either 265 or 275's when running 235 fronts.

First of all, you should pair a 30 series tire in the rear with a staggered setup and 35 series tire up front

Second of all, your tire sizes are all sorts of out of whack. You're rolling at a 2% difference in rolling diameter. You need to be below 1% to avoid blowing your transfer case. I'd fix your tire sizes, and fast...235/35/19 front with 265/30/19 rear

The tire rotational difference will grenade your transfer case. Swerving will be the least of your worries then.

I had no idea the effects of tires have on a car. I mixed run-flats with non-runflats on my E90. I had the run-flats in the front and man!!... The car did the swerve thing you talk about at speeds over 60mph. I had to drive with both hands and people prob thought I was drunk. Major over-steer. Use the tire sizes above and you will be happy. You have to pay money to fix mistakes.

Dude r the tires new??,,if they r they need about 300 miles to be scrubed in..mine handled like crap and then after like 200-300 they were perfect..it actually happens so gradually that by the time they are scrubed u forgot how bad the car use to handle.

Ah, ignorance is bliss and expensive. On Tuesday why don't you call BMW and ask them how much it cost to fix a transfer case. While you are at it, call one of the tire vendors and ask them about running 2%+ rotational difference on a xi and what happens. If your car is still under warranty BMW will not fix the transfer case because of abuse.

There are a couple people in this thread that have a lot of experience and all agree and you are choosing to ignore. Buy new tires and save yourself an expensive headache.
