I got my procede today and been trying to install it for the past 2 and half hours, an hour and a half of that trying to get the fuel pressure sensor connector out. Is there anybody in the san fernando valley that can do the install for me. Its bullshit how vishnu says its an easy install. Please let me know im carless

Sometimes the factory connectors can be sticky the first time you unplug it. There's really no trick to unplugging it. Might take some gentle wiggling up and down to unseat it. There really isn't anything difficult about the install if you just take your time and be patient. Just make sure you are pressing the release tab on the connector when you pull it out.

Based upon my install, this is something best done with someone who has experience. And even then it takes considerable patience.

The fuel connector wasn't that bad for me (did that one on my own), but seems to be notoriously challenging compared to some of the other connectors. If you managed the crank sensor this shouldn't be too bad, just keep at it. It took me about 3 hours with help the first time we did it (the entire install minus fuel).

I had gotten a quote for $300 that I balked at to install it, not that bad in hindsight. But I am glad I did it so now I know how to do it all myself.

The fuel sensor wasn't that bad for me, just spend some time looking at the connector that will replace it... and also I think it ended up facing a different direction that I had initially thought... so make sure you are triggering the release.

My hands took a week to heal after my bout with the PROcede But I didn't think about it much once I was behind the wheel.

Good luck.

Shiv, a video of the N55 install would be HUGE (assuming you haven't posted once in the past few months). We found the guide with photos to be solid, but I think the video would add a lot more perspective.

I can't believe people are having such trouble with this. Its relatively simple. Maybe its easier to me since I am a mechanic. Tip on the fuel connector. Push it toward the rail, while pushing down the release tab, then pull backwards on it.

I can see how it's tough 1st time around.

he's run'n the procede and a
happy camper now.

the real problem was when
he pull'd the battery and closed the trunk...
no rear seat pull down.

good thing he had jumper cables.
