A local guy with a LCI 335xi was successful in fitting the BMW Perf. brakes upfront.

LOL I took a lot of bashing over this one an I brought it up while talking to one of the shops I may do an engine swap through.

There's no way they shouldn't fit since all the E9x have the same base for brake system except with different rotor and caliper choices. RWD or AWD won't make a difference from what I've been told!

It makes a lot on sense that it would work on all E9x non-M

As the saying goes, "if there is a WILL there is a WAY"

I'm not sure if there are other XI's out there who've done this swap, but myself and Andy1991 have done it through our shops without risking safety issues, and WITHOUT using custom carriers/brackets.

Are the brakes that bad on the XI? The brakes on my 335i (w/ sport package) were 10 times better than the brakes on my STi.

So you can do the fronts but the rears require custom brackets, right? Nobody has fitted the rears on an xi successfully have they?

On my prelci e90 330xi, there was no way to install the rear calipers on my stock rotors unless i went with a smaller rotor, which would be totally pointless.

They are identical to the 335i RWD.
