Will 15.8mm rear sway bar to my 335xi create Oversteer or no?
I have Dinan stage 1 suspension and am considering going to stage 2 with their 15.8mm rear sway bar.
I am not sure if our xi comes with 13mm or 15mm rear bar stock, but would going to 15.8mm create oversteer issues? I don't have experience with oversteers and I don't want to run into trouble while hauling my family around. By the way, I don't track the car. It's a DD and I want the sway bar only to control body roll even further. I do spirited aggressive driving but in general don't overspeed. I drive in wet, snow, and dry. I have square tire set up. Does the oversteer issue become an issue only when driven to the limits at the track or would the upgrade cause potentially noticeable oversteer even during daily driving or during hazardous weather driving? Would x-drive and DSC prevent oversteer completely? I know it's a stupid question but like I said, I don't have experience with oversteering in past so I don't want to get into sudden scary situation while driving my loved ones around. I run the OEM m3 bar in the back of mine, and have no oversteer issues.
This car is a real understeer-prone car, the sway just reduces it a bit as opposed to making it more prone to oversteer. I say go for it!

Awesome, how does it feel compared to the stock bar? Also, how big of a pain in the ass was it to install.

Did you install only the rear bar or did you change the front bar as well?

You can try running a staggered setup....but then you'll under steer even more.

Currently running an M Sport 335xi but want to do the UUC setup front and rear. Am I going to have a problem since i'm staggered? Also, will the ride be 2 hard since I am running H&R Sport Springs?

@BMW Option:
My current suspension is as follows: KWV3, m3: subframe bushings, tension struts, guide rods, rear sway. The KW's have a stiff ride but I wouldn't say it's abusive on non-rft's (I am running 19" ps2's). With RFT (like my 17" winter set) the ride is pretty harsh. I am very excited to get non-rft winter tires. FWIW I noticed very little difference in ride quality with the whole m3 rear setup installed at one time (had the coilovers installed a few years back, and the m3 parts two winters ago). @335ipsi: Feels good, car is pretty balanced even with staggered fitment and 275's out back. Still has a bit of understeer but all of the confidence-killing looseness that comes from the back end of the car is gone. Due to an accident last winter, I ended up needing a new rear subframe, so I figured I would upgrade with the m3 stuff at the time to save on labor. I wouldn't recommend a stiff front bar on this car. I am using the stock bar and the car corners very flat and I know that with a thicker bar up front I would lose traction on the front tires.
