Smile Deposit put down on a E90 335i

Been busy last 2 weeks looking for a replacement for my trusty 350Z...after dragging the wife to various garages (she refused to even sit in a EVO X FQ360, and loved the Golf GTD which i refused to sit in ). So we've now reached a "compromise", and I've gone for a 335i

Been reading some reviews which sound good with lots of tuning potential!! Spotted one on auto-trader which fitted the bill nicely, gave the dealer a call to get a trade in value for my Z, and put a deposit down over the phone...now just need to test drive the thing

Had a look on the forum and noticed there seems to be some concerns about reliability which surprised me...but since i'm getting it from a BMW dealer I'm not to worried...the car i'm looking at is a 08, 335i M sport, with 31K on the clock, cannot wait till next weekend ( entertaining in-laws this weekend )

Only thing I'm too keen on is the stock look, just a bit too civilised, can anyone recommend a good kit...don't worry I have no intention of turning it into a EVO X, but just some thing to make it stand out a bit more like my Z below

08 plate means that its a pre facelift car so I would suggest change the rear tail lights.

Plenty of lovely design alloy wheels on the market to transform the look of your car.

CSL reps are a favourite with e90/e91 owners. Also BBS LM and BBS LMR wheels are popular.

Other wheels to consider are oem 313 alloys (expensive), or similar looking M6 reps.

The e90 will take an aggressive offset, unlike the e92/e93 models, so you could even go for wheels designed for the M3

You've gone all grown-up with your 4 door motor .

Your Z looks nice .

Have you gone for an auto 335i or a manual??? I had a manual 335i coupe a few years ago and absolutely loved it. It's a belting car & engine and try not to be too disheartened by the problems you hear as many folk on here have had no problems with the engine (me included); quite a few have though but luckily you'll be fully covered by the warranty .
