First pics of my car with first mods...prepare to be underwhelmed :)
Okay nothing fancy here, but heck I do like this car.
This is an '07 328i with sport and prem package. It has 74.6k miles and has never left its home state of Florida. My mods are a. gloss black grills purchased from jbspeed for $100 and installed this week. They look and fit great. b. cyba scoops (black). you can't really see them here but they are there. After reading countless scoop threads, I decided I had to have them as long as I could buy the cheapest ones out there. They may help when my ac is turned off. not overwhelming. c. K&N drop-in. Definitely felt a difference with that. Worth $40. d. I dropped runflats as soon as they needed changing. The cost savings there easily pays for a, b and c. in the near future... e. trying to make up my mind about AA tune or BMS powerbox. I know the AA tune is the favorite here and we have an installer here in town; on the other hand, it looks like you can resell the powerbox easily, making it a low-risk mod. in more the distant future... f. when my tires wear down, may consider some weight reducing wheels, maybe the d-force LTW5 or the APEX mesh wheels. from there... maybe upgrade as things wear out... suspension components, brake rotors etc. thanks to all of you for your great pictures and comments on maintenance and modifications. |

thanks, I'm fortunate to own such a great car and I plan to keep it as long as I can. If I can do a few little things here and there to keep the excitement fresh, it's worth it.
