Will you trade in/buy the F30/32 the first model year or wait awhile?

I have a 335is that I love but seeing that the "4 series" coupe is coming out in 2013 model year it seems I am not sure if I will tradein or just wait until the F32 is matured a bit. I would hate for the 4 series coupe to have some HPFP type issue in the first year that I could avoid, plus the 335is is brand new and will only be 2 years old for me when the 4 series comes out.

What are your thoughts? I am also hoping on a 335is type 4 series, a "440is" or something. Do you think they will offer a 335is type in the first model year or only near the end of the generation like they did with the 335i?

Sight unseen, as of now, I'm planning to move into a F32 coupe, hopefully it's equipped with N55, when my E92 lease ends second quarter of 2013.

Seeing all the initial problems with F10 models (especially with new EPS system) I will definitely NOT get the new F30 or F32 in their first couple of years of production. Plus I'm not sure if I'll like the overall increased size.

My 335 coupe was one of the very 1st ones..... Never had a problem with it and loved driving it around when it came back to the states.... I am probably going to get a AWD Sedan once they become avail.....

I'm putting in a deposit for the 2015 F32 M3 in Taiwan over the next year or so!!

F32 probably is due in 2013 model year, 2014 would probably be the first year M model for the F3x. I'll wait 1 more year and get the 2015 F32 M.. sounds perfect to me.

By that time, my E92 would be 7 years old and time to trade in!

(or keep it for track)

I was going to wait but after all the issues I had with first year cars (2009 e92, 2010 S4) I'm buying a 2011 LCI 335xi. It will be a while before the sedan xi comes out anyway so it will give me a chance to come back to bmw and then I'll probably pick up the facelift model in 2015/16 or so. From the spy pics it doesnt look like its a huge change over the lci outside of the front (which looks like a 5 series)

What makes you think it'll be a while before the xDrive sedan comes out?

i am very interested in the F30, but i feel like dealers are going to rape those that pre-order....so maybe i will just go with a 5er.

Looking forward to the F32....not looking forward to the hassle of getting a highly sought after car in the first year or two of production. But I will be standing in line, hat in hand, wallet open.... Will E92 will come out of its 3 year warranty in August 2014...just as F32s should be available for the Taiwan market.

Not sure if buying the first model year is the best idea since BMW did do an engine change for the e90 from the 330 to the 335 in the second production year.
