Just bought my first BMW.

Hello everyone,

I just purchased a 2006 BMW 325i Alpine White, 6SPD. I bought this from a private owner, who seemed to take care of it very well. I did not get a pre-purchase inspection before i bought the car. I was just wondering should i be worried about any future problems or existing problems with these E90 models that the dealership can fix? I noticed there was a list of Technical Services Bulletins, but most of them didn't relate to my model. Are there any outstanding problems that i should know about these models? The car is under extended certified pre-owned warranty until May 2012.

Thanks for the help guys!

No. Our 325xi has over 100k miles and no problems at all. Warranty ran out long time ago. The N52 engine is VERY reliable. Enjoy a reliable ride .

And welcome! Post pics! LOL.

Hello,

Just wanna share a bit of information. I have two E90s currently, and I've got quite lot of problems with the cars. The first problem was, both of the cars' front actuator were broken (locking system). Moreover, one of my car was broken twice. Another problem with my car was the steering rack. The steering rack was broken when I was just hitting 10k miles on my car. Luckily my car was still under warranty at that time.

Since your car is still under warranty, you don't have to worry if there is any problem
