"Engine Malfunction" reduced speed .. Help.
So last night took my car to 140 plus on the pch, it was all good. Then engine malfunction came on .. reduced speed WTF i drove a little turned it off and on again, pushed it to 100 it was cool. I have jb3 and exhaust... 335 07
Thoughts please, i see alot of people talking about the hpfp is an issue is this what i should expect the it to be... so weird that it happened randomly and not again. Going to see if it happens again today. Thanks homies!! |

No not yet it happened last night, all the dealers are closed on sunday, one of my boys said that its a common problem when running a tune at high speeds and downshifting is when it happened. Were thinking its about time for a spark plug change or upgrade...
Thoughts on the best spark plug for 335i on a jb3 tune i think oem is best.. but anyone upgraded there sparks and noticed a difference or running better.. |

It probably isn't plug related, but it wouldn't hurt to get them changed. There's a chance a diverted valve was loose (happened to me under similar conditions), but now I'm just guessing.
