Aftermarket pedals question

I am planning on ordering some silver pedals (gas, brake, footrest) for my 335i. Since these are obviously very important parts to the vehicle and need to work at all times, I was wondering if there is any risk whatsoever going in the direction of aftermarkets for these parts, or should I be safe and keep the current pedals on?

most pedals that you buy screw over your gas pedal and dead pedal and you take off the rubber on the brake and screw it in. if these are the type of pedals your reffering to then yes they're absolutely safe.

I have a set of aluminum pedals for **********s.com, and they nicely match my aluminum trim. Installation wasn't really that hard, the hardest part was drilling through the brake pedal. Yes, you have to drill four holes in each pedal, after that you just put the new aluminum one on, and secure it with four bolts. Is it safe, definitely, each pedal has four bolts keeping it in place. I check mine once in a while, had them on for two years now, and never had any issues.

thats exactly what i was just referring to. you drill into the gas and the dead pedal and you remove the rubber off ther brake pedal and drill the holes into that. i have the exact same ones from **********s and have had no issues.

Nice, well I ordered these ones here.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...#ht_2552wt_941

I know many people don't trust eBay, but I sell on eBay for a living and know who and who not to deal with I guess you could say. I hope it works out great, one of the last mods I have left to complete.

Oh and I'm not an M poser lol, these were the best deal I could find and happen to say M on them. There are NO other Ms found on my 335 :-)
