Tough question. Are you underwater on the lease/loan? How much do you NEED to get?Same model year used the expectation is the first owner eats the depreciation...

I think he's trying to get rid of it before it gets into the carfax and affects his resale....

after that accident...35k. And even at that price most people would rather have an 09 with 25k miles that wasn't demolished.

get rid of it to an unsuspecting buyer in a private sale? Not ethical imho. But to anyone in the car business they will be able to find the repair, carfax or not. I doubt it could be CPO so off to the wholesale market on your dime.

Why does any of this matter? I thought you posted that you have full replacement, or was that another thread?

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger

Even with the accident out of the question, I would say that you will take about a $5k - $10k hit on trade-in.
